to all those posts claiming Shane is a bad guy in The Long Game, how the fuck do you explain this then?
this is not the words of a bad guy, he's just human and his autism makes it really hard for him to understand Ilya's feelings and perspective.
he always feels bad when he learns he did something to hurt someone else. he takes that feeling and works hard to improve himself. he tries to understand he is learning! he's not perfect and you shouldn't judge him for having a brain that works differently.
all you morons I keep seeing with terrible takes about Shane are just a bunch of ableist assholes. y'all are the reason people like me avoid social interactions completely.
