Thank you for answering my very long ask. And I pretty much agree with everything you said and while I do think there is magical stuff going on with Theon and that he likely has some type of magical power just like the Starks and the Targaryen's which will connect him to Bran, Bloodraven and Euron, I mean the first two are trying somewhat desperately to reach him. But the human elements in Theon's story is what made me fall in love with his story because it's just so raw and so human.
Oh absolutely! Thank you for giving me the chance to ramble on about Theon and revisit that scene- and I hope it didn't seem like I was rejecting your theory. I really do love how Theon is so insistent that he flew. And I mean even though you could explain it.... they really should have died. I think he was probably right. If we can look forward to them splitting the pacing up to half a book per season, that'll be...what, after this season, three years? Then again they've also jumped to Theon's fate, which is very much a book five thing (Shit are they just going to be torturing him for the next two seasons? They already took his Kraken!). Presumably this season's central events will be the Purple Wedding, the trial of Tyrion Sansa in the Vale, the battle for the wall---maybe meeting Coldhands? Oh we get Leaf this season, I think. And since A Feast for Crows is occurring through roughly I think the first half of A Dance with Dragons(?). Ugh it's tough to figure out how it's going to work book-wise when the show occasionally just throws whole stuff from the books out the window. We've already got Daenerys on the throne of Meereen, by the looks of it, as well as what looks like the assassinations from the sons of the Harpy or whatever, which I think is occurring around the time of AFFC. I'm pretty sure this season's big ending twist-hook will be Lady Stoneheart, but time and place are pretty scrambled in my head now.
If this season is already edging into AFFC/ADWD events (Dany on the Meereenese throne--sons of the Harpy assassinations, Theon getting more torture :< ) I think the season after this one we might get Jeyne Poole!
also i had a dream a while ago that i was again, walking around in the countryside when this huge gust of wind blew me up into the air, and if i just pushed hard enough like i was swimming, i could fly! and i went further and further up, and it became easier and i was swooping about all over the place really fast. then amy appeared and she was flying too, and wearing one of those flying squirrel suits people wear to go basejumping, and then i was wearing one too and we both went flying about
another night i dreamt i was looking at this painting of jesus and he looked distraught and was gazing up at this other man who was bending over him, and jesus was cupping the man's face in his hand. then it was like i was in the painting, watching the scene it was depicting 2000 years ago, and jesus drew the man's face down to his and they did some really intense making out. welp
