What songs feel very aromantic to you?
Weekly Discussion Prompt 038.
Timestamp: October 2, 2019.
Are there any that are explicitly about being aro?
Do you know of any aro musical artists? (We know about Moses Sumney, and he's iconic - what about some others, especially smaller creators?)
What songs aren't really that aro, but that you like to look at through an aro lens?

Weekly Discussion Prompt 035 splendid-aros
Where did you first learn about aromanticism? Online? Where - a discussion board, tumblr, fan communities, etc? In “real life”? Where - from a friend, a GSA or other queer organization, etc? What was your initial reaction?
I first learned about aromanticism from tumblr where I was lurking in the ace community.
Interestingly, the first time I saw it was when I was something like 12 or 13, and I remember looking at it, more or less shrugging, and scrolling past it and the definition. A few months later it reappeared on my dash. That time I read the definition and stopped. Reread it. “Oh.” I thought. “That fits even better than ace!” I thought.
And then proceeded not realize that my strong prioritization of being aro over ace was maybe an indication I wasn’t ace for about 6-7 years, ignoring a weird time I can say for sure is I felt sexual attraction because I Did Not Like It.
