I don’t know if it’s unpopular. But I know a lot of people go the route of if Arya is close to Jon, and had a decent relationship with Robb then Sansa must be closest to Bran~ ... which I disagree with.  I think I’m biased but I definitely think Arya has a very close relationship to all her brothers, more so than Sansa not because they liked Arya more but because of Arya’s interest and her tendency to spend more time with the boys and engage in the same games. Sansa sort of grew out of roughhousing and Arya loved it and thrived on it. 

More so, the thing about Bran. I get why people would say Sansa and Bran are the closest, a bit of an echo of Catelyn’s relationship with Bran as her special boy but the fandom seems to think of Bran as the really quiet and bookish Stark when like... dude the kid climbed everything. Like yes he’s the Three Eyed-Raven and super wise but like his childhood as revealed in how other characters think of him and how he reflects on his own past, he got in all sorts of mischief and trouble. And very often, who was his partner in crime? 

Arya.

Plus, Arya and Bran are so so close in age and it’s implied that in the way Robb and Jon were a pair of playmates and companions, Arya and Bran were the same way. We don’t get a lot of Winterfell, before Bran’s fall context, but if we take the bits we see in the show where Arya sneaks out of her lesson to practice archery and how Bran chased her around, that has to be something that happens fairly often. And in that vision (in a passage im too lazy to find) Bran sees Lyanna and Benjen playing in the past, being rather rough, and initially thinks its him and Arya though he realizes he never wore his hair that long so it’s not him.

I personally think of Bran and Arya as super close. To the extent, that they sort of mellow each other out and their personalities balance one another’s, this is especially truer in modern verses. It’s just their close proximity in age and how much they have in common. The fact they are two of the strongest wargs in the family and are likely to bond over that, the amount of time they spent together. 

I’m not saying Sansa wasn’t close to her brothers because evidently she’d have a close knit relationship with Robb as the two oldest trueborn children and she was on good terms with Bran and Rickon. But Sansa spent most of her time being a good little lady and socializing with the other girls at Winterfell while Arya spent most her time with her brothers and the other boys like Mycah. 

35 cats! I wanted to cap this canvas at six rows like the first, but I hit the 200 layer mark which is the point where csp begins to lag. Each cat is in a separate folder, which isnt great for performance but easier for browsing. I still want to do a year's end review for this project so I won't go to much into detail, but heres some noteable cats:

Silver Maple. Drew her in the first batch but didn't like it, redrew her again. It was a while ago, but look at that improvement!

Lilac, and all her kits for being beautiful. The father is Candle Smoke but he isn't really notable.

Beetle and Halibut for just looking cool

+Halibut's mate Perch and kits for also being cool.

In making the final row I feel like I'm beginning to really notice the benefits of quantity over quality. Not only am I beginning to make cats really fast now, the art just looks better. Can't deny its a bit disheartening to see I'm only at 54% progress.

All them cats. I might redo some of the earlier ones that I'm not happy with. Some favorites: Cephei, Coral, and their kits!

my opinion on;

character in general: Shame. No I love Bran, he’s an incredible character and I could just go on about him for hours. how they play them: I love wcrg’s portrayal of Bran, it’s realistic (if you can say that about a character from a fantasy show/book series) and mun has a great understanding of the character. There in nothing to shame. the mun: I don’t really know India very well, but they seem like an amazing person and I cherish our interactions.

follow them: Yes. rp with them: Does shaming count? We haven’t really done that no, just some crack here and there.want to rp with them: Yes! ship their character with mine: I have not even considered this. I don’t think so, no. I’d say there is more potential for a bromance there. But I’m a ship whore, so show me a cute gif set and there’s a 99% chance I’ll ship it tbh.
