It is a shock to see Enzo Hernandez receive that red card today. Although it was two yellows I honestly thought that foul on Cubarsi was gonna get pushed under the rug. I say this not because it’s Argentina but because of how conservative they are with giving out red cards in World Cup final. In this photo it shows Nigel De Jong tackle on Xabi Alonso. This tackle only received a yellow. In this final I believe it was 14 yellow cards given. Only one red card the whole game tho and it was not given to the tackle in the photo unbelievably. To be fair tho the red card in this game was the result of two yellows so it makes sense. I think if Enzo Fernandez did not get that card Argentina would have definitely been competing and would have potentially gotten Argentina to penalties. Argentina with Emi Martinez would have won in penalties no doubt. Overall tho who knows Spain won fair and square.
