You crane your head to look at him, a subtle warmth spreading across your cheeks.  “Here…? Like, right now?”

Your question sparks a faint blush on his face and you feel his fingers interlaced with yours, tighten its hold around your smaller hand in a nervous grip. 

“Y-yeah.” He stammers with a timid nod.

Your expression softens at his hesitant reply. “Are you sure? You seem a little…” You trail off, taking notice of his gaze pointed down at his black sneakers, him squirming a bit where he stands, and the feeling of the palm of his large hands growing clammy in your own.

“I'm sure.” He hurries out, eyes confident as he meets your gaze.  

“Um, okay...” You smile. "Do you want me to lean down a bit? I can—”

Sakura clicks his tongue in a way only you can discern its playful undertone. “Don’t get so cocky just ‘cause yer a few inches taller.” He steps closer to you, his free hand shooting up towards you to grab you gently by the length of your uniform tie, before tugging you down a bit to meet his level.

His other hand releases yours from its grasp to cup the nape of your neck in a similar gentle caress; and Sakura's cheeks gradually become redder the more his face inches closer to your own, warm the same.

“Y’know, you don’t have to do this if it makes you uncomfortable.” You reassure with a tender smile.

“Who says I’m uncomfortable?” He scoffs, his warm breath tinged with a hint of mint, brushing against your lips. “I’ve been wanting to do this, tryna do this, for the entire goddamn day.” His tone lowers, mismatched eyes dropping down to your plush plump lips, before capturing them between his own.

Sakura's eyes flutter close and you mimic the action. His lips, soft against your own, moves tentatively, experimenting, and he instantly finds himself drowning in the honeyed and intoxicating taste that can only be described as you. 

His lips press more firmly, borderline needy, against yours and the hand he'd planted behind your neck, moves to cup the smooth skin of your left cheek in its tender embrace. Then languidly, he peppers a few light kisses onto your lips, before reluctantly parting from you with a subconscious satisfying hum, and you can’t help the corners of your mouth from tugging up into a goofy smile.

Sakura averts his gaze from your own. "Why're you smiling like that?” He asks, a shy smile of his own painting itself onto his flushed expression. He is taken aback when you suddenly throw your arms around his neck, pressing a tender kiss to his lips, which he instinctively leans into.

“'Cause—” You pull away, touching your forehead to his as your face brims with a wide smile that reaches your eyes. “—you gave me your first kiss.” You finish before leaning forward, a leg raised low behind you, for another kiss.
