Constantin couldn't rest. He hadn't earned it yet-- the Emperor's lost shard had still not been found. He needed to move, yet his body just refused to do so.
After he'd helped Clementiya's estate and had gotten the heiress to her room, Constantin hadn't exactly moved from his spot at her door. His armor had locked up to keep him from almost collapsing, so he looked as though he were standing on watch for Clementiya at her room, his helmet on to hide his face and the way his eyes slowly closed... he'd been so tired. Ten thousand years without respite, hunting and searching to find the lost shard of the Emperor, to find His true name... and, well, he failed in that.
At least he can make himself useful here, and guard the Heiress's room like he would've with the Emperor-- to do at least something before they'd have to inevitably part and Constantin would continue his search. He just... needed...
... He'd snapped out of his thoughts and near-sleep when he heard the door open, quickly snapping his head to Clementiya as the door opened. The Custodian stared, though it was hard to tell if he were surprised or not with the faceless helm.
" It is fine. " Constantin replied, deadpan, as he moved a bit to get out of her way. " I simply thought it best to stay here, and keep watch. "
A lie, but not like she'd be able to call him out on that. Valdor slowly tilted his head to the side, taking note of her exhaustion and more simple attire.
" Unable to sleep? " He asked then, gesturing to her.
