Standing waves on a shallow stream bed, with an actual wavelength between them!!!. Some of them are peaks of pure liquid, while yet others of those peaks are crested with a slight tuft of foam. Once again we witness an interaction between the stream bed and the fluid flowing over it, each sculpting the other into a wavy pattern.

私の母のために描いた作品です。母が好きな花はたくさんあって、どれが一番好きなのかはわからないのですが、きっとラナンキュラスの花は好きなのだろうなぁと私は思うのです。これは母が教えてくれた、たくさんの花のうちの一つなのです。
ラナンキュラスはきれいな花ですよ。花びらがたくさんあって、絵に描いたときは大変でしたが、またいつか絵に描きたいなーと思っている花です。
そして庭といえば猫です。母は動物も好きなのです。秋の初めの、線香花火が似合うような、寂しくて艶やかな雰囲気が好きです。もうすぐ誕生日。
