You can't really see them too well. But I've got some saplings screwed to some u-posts. This is the beginning of a fence around the front yard. This is going to go all the way around the garden (to keep critters out) and up the side of the driveway. It will also give the dogs an area to run and play. I have some pretty awesome helpers in the garden. Got plenty of work done this morning. Planted winter and summer squash, okra, bush beans, purple pole beans, and Sophie worked on her very first garden bed that's all hers. She planted Mexican gerkhin cucumbers, echinacea, and a few other flowers! So far the biggest threat to our sunflower hut has been little feet that trample seedlings. I've been wanting to experiment with a wattle fence, so figured this is the perfect opportunity!
