Happy Wednesday! Day 3 of my #waterweekchallenge and day 2 of my #tabatachallenge Today we have Jump Squats (or squats to calf raise). High Knees (either stepping or hopping). Jump lunges (or step lunges) and Ski Hops. Remember you do all set once through, 20 second on, 10 seconds rest. Then repeat the entire set 3 times or more for a 6 min plus workout. Let me know what you think once you try it out.
Today is day 1 of my 7 day #waterweekchallenge. Drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces a day. One top of that I am posting a Tabata routine on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for an added metabolism boost! If you are interested in joining me in this #fitnesschallenge just tag me and the hashtag #waterweekchallenge in your video or picture posts of your Tabata workout and/or water drinking. IG is @ashfarleigh Facebook is @ashleighfarleighhealthandfitnesa What is Tabata? do each exercise in the set for 20 seconds, take a 10 second rest and repeat the set 3-4 times for a 6-8 minute workout. Today we have Burpees, Body weight squats, push-ups and mountain climbers. Burpee- you will stand feet hip width apart and squat and touch the floor. Hop back to plank, then back to squat then stand. You can add a jump if you want but not required. You can also step back each foot vs hoping back. Squat- Stand feet hip width apart. Put the weight onto your heels. You should be able to lift your toes. And squat back like you are sitting into a seat. Keep your back straight an chest up Push- up- You can do these on our toes or on your knees. I show both. Place your hands beneath your shoulders and lower your chest to the ground. Keep your elbows pointing back and not too far out to the side. Keep your chin up and look 3-4 inches a head. Mountain Climbers- Get into push up position and bring each knee to the chest. You can do this fast or slow, like a step. Keep your chin up and look 3-4 inches a head. --
