Okay so this book, how do I even start? I love LOVE these novels so much and I really cannot recommend them enough! I rank this series with Harry Potter and Sarah J. Maas' books with how much I adore it! The most recent book Water's Wrath, contunes the story of Vhalla and Aldrick and the War of the Crystal Caverns. Vhalla has left the warfront to learn more about the Knights of Jadar. She spends time hidden away researching, learning about the crystal axe she possess named Achel, that has the ability to sever souls. The knights begin to pursue her and she finds herself back at the Tower, where her story began. This part of the novel is pivotal but it reads a little slow, but it is essential for us to learn about what is to take place toward the end. After training with Victor, the head of the tower of magic wielders Vhalla ends up becoming closer to Aldrik again, despite him being engaged to a princess from the North. Their relationship picks up, with it's swoonworthy romance, when Baldir the Golden Prince falls ill. After this the novel picks up and leaves your head spinning with all the revelations that happen within a few short chapters! I absolutely cannot wait for the final book in the series, Crystal Crowned, to be released in July. One of the best things about these books, other than being absolutely amazing, is that you don't have to wait very long between release dates. It's a few months vs. a year, but trust me it feels like two years. As usual with Ms. Kova's books I GIVE IT FIVE STARS!!!
