Without water we can not survive, it is as vital to the human race as air. It is one of our most precious resources, and it is being depleted faster than we can replenish it. It is time for us, as Californians, as a nation, as a world--to wake up. 

“Water is essential for healthy living, yet 748 million people lack access to clean water – the equivalent of nearly two and a half times the United States population. As a devastating effect, one child under the age of 5 dies every minute from diarrhea caused by contaminated water and unsafe hygiene.” -World Vision USA

To combat the crisis in 1993, the United Nations General Assembly declared March 22 as World Water Day. Only now, in the midst of California’s largest drought in decades are Californians taking notice. What about the millions of people that go without clean drinking water? How can we make a difference? I’ve teamed up with World Vision to spread awareness for people around the globe who need safe water. For every post, tweet, or picture that is posted allows us to spread awareness, and when we as a world are aware, it allows for greater good to evolve and make a difference.
