Wait did it blow up or did you drop it? I've broken 3 glass bowls in the last month or so. I should just never own glass.

I dropped a glass jar full of sugar onto the glass kettle half-full of hot water. I have no comment on the number of glass/ceramic items I’ve broken over the course of my life. *whistles innocently* (It’s actually not THAT many, but...I definitely am experienced in cleaning up messes that could cut me.)

Cleaning up that kind of a mess is the worst. It is crazy how far glass can shatter. A couple of weeks ago I was filling my iced tea pitcher with ice and the bottom shattered. Ice and glass shards everywhere. I probably would have cried if sugar was involved.

Yikes! I guess it was that pitcher’s time to go? And yeah, I was the only adult in the house so I just sort of got it done, but I’m sure if Troy had been home I would have indulged in a little meltdown. :)

We have a glass cookie jar thing for dog treats. One day my dad came over and went to drop a treat into the jar (I think he gives a whole one to Bugsy and a half treat to Sophie) but it made a hole completely through the glass. I was like ok so you broke the treat jar, but HOLY SHIT WHAT KIND OF TREATS ARE YOU FEEDING MY DOG??! At least you had something legit break your kettle.

Hahahahahaha, okay, thank you for sharing that story. I feel better now. :)
