tell me about your lesbian wizards please!!
So, the lesbian wizards is the main love story of this entire like... adventure book. One of which you have the main protagonist, Willow, and her enemies to lovers counterpart, Agnes.
They're enemies because of a certain contrast that their characters have. (Like, for example, Agnes can't make spaghetti, Willow can.) I will not spoil that here, mostly because Agnes is a character that will open up as the book goes on.
She's the tragic, backstory character who trusts no one, who works in an underground society. But eventually finds love and friendship in the book.
The main story however, is essentially about the contrast of people born with magical abilities (Wisps, I currently call them), and those who have to learn. The Wisps have magic that is highly influenced by emotion. Because humanity can only treat itself like dirt, the Wisps have this kind of elitist mindset.
And more often than not, if someone shows good learned magic prowess, they will take them into the what are currently called the 'Wisp Cities'. But otherwise, those with learned magic, stay in a few villages a bit outside the city (currently called Bottlecap, Mossy Rock, Muiniac, and mysterious four one very important later.) And, of course, there's a giant wall around the wisp city.
Our main protagonist, Willow, grows up in Bottlecap with two Moms, Liv and Melissa. She is learning magic from them, and isn't believed to be a Wisp. However, one day, a tragic event happens, and Willow, unable to keep her composure, discovers that she is a Wisp. Including herself.
From then on out she's on the run, and comes across a ragtag group of friends along the way.
