The poll between cryptids and Ghost Files was very close but the cryptids won so this WatcherWeen we'll choose our favorite cryptids from the six that have been covered by Watcher so far. Polls will start two weeks from today (Oct 7th @ 10am PST) and each run for a week to have the winner announced on Halloween 2025!

So for anyone who wants to make fan art or edits to promote their favorites in this race you have a couple weeks to start creating!

people are pushing for youtube boycotts (which I completely understand bc what yt and google are doing is stupid) but I don't want to see this negatively effect Watcher - view counts on their videos have been dwindling for some time already and I'm sure this isn't going to make it any better

You - yes, you! - can help by making more posts. You don't have to only post art or gifs - anything from text posts, meta ramblings, video clips, screenshots, memes, or reactions are good!

If you make a post about their shows - then go to Step 2.

2. If you want people to find your posts use the tag #watcherblr

tumblr tags are kind of a mess because I think Watcher is a video game and also that one movie, so I say we claim this one. This will put all the fandom posts somewhere we can find them.

(and if your post is for Watcher TV, add that as a tag too so people can filter if they're on the YouTube schedule)

Some gifmakers have already been using the tag #watcheredit so you could also add this if you make any gifs or other edits.

tumblr likes don't do much - we all need to reblog more

maybe you're new to tumblr but here: REBLOGS COUNT MORE THAN LIKES. so make a watcher sideblog if you must but hit that reblog button!

If you're looking for Watcher blogs to follow, I've made a post of content creators and available in my pinned post, and I'll keep it updated.

We've put together a brief survey and would love get the Watcher fandom's feedback on the Wiki.

I made a picker wheel with the Watcher shows that have multiple seasons (so lots of eps) If you're tagged, spin the wheel and then reblog or make a new post with your top five episodes of that show, and tag five more people to keep it going!

Usually we report on things that have already happened or are guaranteed to happen, but wanted to make a post about what we do and don't know for the rest of 2025 to try and guess what could be coming later this year.

Any dates listed are for Watcher TV airdates - YouTube is one month later

Ghost Files, along with shows like Evidence Room, Road Files, and Ghost Files Debrief will air 4 episodes beginning April 18th, the 16th week of the year. It will take eight weeks to air all episodes of this mini season, ending June 6, 2025.

Ghost Files will also air another 6 episodes later this year in the fall (dates TBA) that will be 12 weeks of releases.

Mystery Files is also expected to air another 6 episodes in 2025 (dates TBA) for a total of six weeks (Pod Watcher #055 is when Steven mentioned both GF and MF having two seasons this year).

This leaves 11 weeks left in the year and we don't know what Watcher could be planning to release!

Most of Watcher's shows have four or six episode seasons, so it could be another two shows to fill these spots with maybe a one-off added in.

Fingers crossed that those weeks could be filled by some food content from Steven, Andrew, and Adam! Or maybe a new season of Too Many Spirits or more Are You Scared, since those seem easier to produce. Survival Mode is also a possibility. There could also be a pop culture trivia one-off video in the works, since Meredith asked for Q's on the Wiscord, but no airdate has been announced and not sure if that would be a Watcher TV exclusive or not.
