“No no, you don’t understand -” Roy frowns, tearing his eyes away from the half-assembled piece of tech on the table in front of him. “It’s going to be great, seriously! It’ll make a huge difference, just give me another hour or so to finish it off.” He turns back to the table and so he can keep putting the new trick arrow together, not even thinking for a second about the fact that he’s been working for hours.

“Way better than what I could afford on Earth. You want anything?”

“I know we’re supposed to be figuring out how to like, get them not to hate us but—” He ends his sentence there, face nearly pressed against the large glass window. He’d only been to the Watchtower a handful of times, each visit leaving him wishing for more time to explore the vessel, see all the gadgets his father had installed upon first ever establishing the place. “Space is sick. Like, look how small Earth looks from here. It’s... crazy.” 

“So uh - I quit.” Dick states shortly with a sigh, looking up at them with a rather sombre expression on his face. Coming to the Watchtower under these circumstances is bittersweet - he’s glad he can keep working with the others and help them, but he knew he couldn’t keep up on the force if he came here. “Five years on the force. Five years, man. This sucks.”

"Must suck, bein’ cooped in here.” Guy says as he hops onto the couch, his uniform disappearing to reveal his civvies underneath - a simple t-shirt and jeans, boots on his feet as he sets them on the coffee table. He lifts his arms to clasp them together behind his head, looking over at them with a grin “Y’ever wanna take a break, I’d be happy to take ya for a flight. Might do y’some good, clear your head out there.”
