this was my first time making a cardboard cutout ever so it was pretty unsettling to have him staring at my every move from the corner of my room at first AHGDJAJDJDJDN but i quickly got used to his presence. now it feels so natural for me to see him every day LOL

i couldn't find a good full body art of him to print so i took it to my own hands to clean up the highest quality key art i could find and draw the rest of his legs manually.... have some WIP pictures

i keep coming back to see this dialogue because it's so funny 😭😭😭😭 wataru-kun saying something poetic to impress the heroine... he's so silly. though i like to think that he's being genuine when he says this. after all, wataru-kun is a sentimental person...

2. game center (medal game) 3rd date

you get this dialogue when you pick "this is your chance for a comeback!" which is normally the worst option here. but when you select it when he's at grinning or tokimeki, you'll get a special extended dialogue like this...!

this one is genuinely so sweet agghhhh 😭😭🥺🥺🥺🥺 this exchange explains everything i love about wataru's route and his dynamic with the heroine. as long as senpai is at his side to support him, wataru-kun can do anything... i'm emotional

in japan, cheery blossoms (sakura) symbolize impermanence and the beauty of life. cherry blossom blooms beautifully but fall quickly, so they serve as a metaphor for human mortality and the importance of cherishing fleeting moments in life. i'm not sure if the other boys are like this too, but i think it's very sweet how wataru doesn't just simply think that the cherry blossoms are beautiful, but he also thinks about how they will disappear soon... ough

i don't have the screenshots of the 3rd date anymore, but the option you have to pick for the extended date dialogue is "it's sad (that the sakura trees only blossoms for a while), but now they're really beautiful." ...... I'M SICK AND ILL 😭😭😭💔💔💔💔💔
