To finish off this year of recipes I returned back to one of my favorite episodes of Good Eats with a recipe that I’ve been wanting to try for a long time: wassil. Just the idea alone of spices and booze was enough to peak my interest, but add wine and rich eggs to the mix and I’m hooked. The one thing I changed was swapping the ale for hard cider. I’m not much of a beer person but I do love me some cider. Turns out it worked out perfectly because this wassil was absolutely delicious. A perfect way to send off 2015.
