              eyes   scan   the   men   in   suits   who   are   littered   across   the   hall   for   the   one   with   the   BRIEFCASE.     takes   it   with   a   satisfied   thank   you   grin     (   being   smug   is   alright   if   it’s   towards   bad   guys   )      tosses   it   to   hope   just   as   quickly   as   he’s   got   it ;    he   knows   SHE’LL   know   what   to   do   with   it. 

              hears   sirens   as   the   get   closer   and   closer   to   the   building.       AW   SHIT  :      can’t   even   take   a   minute   to   breathe !     kicking   ass   and   constant   shrinking   &   growing   can   really   take   it   out   of   a   guy !     “   alright ,    alright ,    do   you   have   an   eta   on   those   cops ?   ”     already   began   taking   off   down   the   hall   to   be   met   with   a   large ,    floor   to  ceiling   window.

                               “   totally unfair that you got the wings, by the way,   ”      he’s   said   it   before   and   will   say   it   again.     always   has   to   make   this   point   in   these   situations. 

               BLINK   AND   YOU   MISS   IT !      six   foot   man   shrinks   to   the   size   of   an   ant   and   plunges   through   the   glass   like   a   bullet.     air   surrounds   him ;    he   can   feel   himself   falling ,    but   the   forty   flights   feel   closer   to   a   hundred.     never   fear   though ,     this   is   a   feeling   he’s   grown   used   to.     before   he   knows   it ,    he’s   caught   by   a   flying   ant ,    and   readjusting   to   mount   it   properly.

                   “   thank   you ,    ANThony   bourdain !    ”    hand   moves   to   pet   the   ant   affectionately.

                      dick waved his cast around a bit, ignoring the small flinch of pain that pinched at his shoulder as he did. technically, he was told to wear the sling for a month, the cast for two, and then no extraneous activities for three.          well, that was just   improbable   as much as it was   I N S A N E.      sure, dick shouldn’t have been shot--- it was a foolish error on his part, but he was   READY!   he was back, and while the cast may not be the best for some of his more extravagant moves, he’s   ROBIN   for god’s sake--- robin doesn’t stay down!             “ braced for anything. ”                     he smiles at his own lackluster pun, an obvious but hopefully fruitful misdirect at what he’s   TRYING   to get away from. he knows she gets it, but he doesn’t want it said regardless.   batman says he’s grounded indefinitely.      we’ll see about that.          “ what about you? what’ve i missed? i saw some ‘wasp sightings’ online, how’s working with your dad? ”

it's give sarah love hour- which is an infinite hour because sarah always deserves love. your characters? your portrayals? the best in the entire galaxy! you as a person? listen, i have never had such a best friend like you and you make so grateful to a part of your life and interests. listen, it's a true honor being your friend.

in all seriousness, ace, i adore you and i can’t believe that i was able to meet someone that so quickly became one of my best friends. you’re such a kind and genuine person, and your love for your characters shines SO BRIGHT in everything that you do. and you enabled me to scream about j.aime for like 4 hours today so that in itself deserves a gold medal like???? the real hero right here, folks. but yeah, I LOVE YOU, MY DUDE.

Ava was not vain or conceited. In fact, she was hardly confident in who she was. But she was confident about her abilities. In fact, that level of confidence sometimes reached arrogance. Out of all the things in this world, Ava knew how to use her powers to their maximum potential better than anyone. What she was not great at was working in teams. That was a slow learning curve for her. SHIELD had used her for mostly solo stealth ops. She didn’t get help then. Surely, she didn’t need help now.
