Remembrance Day As a Canadian, it is the most important day of the year, besides Canada Day. And as a family member of not one, but two WW2 War Veterans, one being a surviving POW, this day means so much more. We have to please remember that war is never the answer. But unfortunately, it is still something that controls our lives. We have to THANK those who fought and continue to fight. And remember those who fought and fell. Today is a day dedicated to just that. Remembrance. Today, my mom and I tried something different. We usually attend our city ceremony, however with it falling on a Saturday, we chose to attend the ceremony at the Warplane Museum. It is the biggest Remembrance Day Ceremony (besides Ottawa) in all of Canada. I’d say about 3,500 were in attendance and it was an absolutely beautiful ceremony. #lestweforget #remembranceday #canada #warveterans #canadianwarplaneheritagemuseum #warplanemuseum
