Honouring the Brave | Chef Prince Remembers 🌹 Chef Prince stands with Australians in paying tribute to the brave souls who fought for our freedom. Their courage inspires us to give our best in everything we do. ❤️ Join us in remembering and honouring them this Remembrance Day.
“At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them.”
Today, we pause to remember the brave souls who gave their lives so that we could live in peace and freedom.
To every soldier, veteran, and family who has carried the weight of sacrifice we thank you.
Lest we forget. ❤️
This Remembrance Day in Canada, I join communities across Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga, Caledon, Hamilton, and beyond in honoring the men and women who served with courage and love for our country.
Their sacrifice allows us to live freely and safely — in homes, schools, and neighborhoods that embody peace.
As we remember them today, let’s pause not just for silence, but for gratitude. 💬 Who are you remembering this Remembrance Day, and what freedom means to you?

Today, we honour the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who served. 🌺 May we never forget. May we always be grateful. Lest we forget. ❤️
Remembrance Day 2025
Today, I heard something that genuinely stopped me in my tracks. A 100-year-old World War II veteran, Alec Penstone, said that the country is worse now than it was when he fought for it. Let that sink in. A man who faced down tyranny, who served aboard HMS Campania on D-Day, one of the defining moments of our history, now looks upon the nation he defended and feels disappointment. That should shame every single one of us.
Penstone doesn’t call himself a hero. He says his heroes are the comrades who didn’t make it home. The ones who gave everything for freedom, honour, and country. On this Remembrance Day, his words cut deeper than any speech from a politician ever could. They remind us that remembrance isn’t about wearing a poppy for a photo or sharing a token post online. It’s about what we do, how we live, how we protect what they fought for.
And yet, look at Britain today. The moral decay. The loss of identity. The constant infighting, the cultural self-hatred, the erosion of values that once defined us.
People are glued to their phones, too distracted to notice the decline. A society that has traded respect for heritage and sacrifice for selfishness. We’ve gone from the spirit of Churchill’s Britain to a confused, complacent mess where even the word patriotism offends people.
I’ll say this clearly: I am ashamed. Ashamed of how the country has turned out. Ashamed that men like Alec Penstone are made to feel their sacrifice was in vain. They fought against oppression, not so we could surrender our freedoms voluntarily to bureaucrats and ideologues.
Our next General Election may very well be our last real chance to turn this around to reclaim our nation’s dignity, to restore freedom, and to secure a future worth inheriting for the next generation. If we fail to act now, if we remain silent, we betray those who stormed beaches and flew into flak-filled skies.
Alec Penstone’s generation didn’t fight so Britain could forget who she is. They fought so she could live free. It’s up to us now to make sure their fight wasn’t for nothing.
