When she arrived that day, he quickly came at her side, a huge smile on his lips. “Kass. I hope the sea was good on you.” He said happily. “I just came back from a hunt. Maybe I should have waited.” He then added, teasing her.

The young Native held up the lantern as he heard someone coming through the brush.  He himself was hiding from the old man at the manor, in the stables, awaiting his next chance in the morning light.  He heard the sound of a horse and turned its direction in just enough time to jump out of the way.  Thankfully the lantern didn’t get knocked from his hand or he probably would’ve set the entire frontier on fire.  “Who is there?”

       “ 𝚢𝚎   𝚘𝚞𝚐𝚑𝚝   𝚝𝚘   𝚋𝚎   𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚎   𝚌𝚊𝚛𝚎𝚏𝚞𝚕   𝚘𝚞𝚝   𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎 ! ”   ——   lips   of   scarlet   puckered  with   utmost   gentleness   &   her   everglade   green   eyes   spoke   of   softness   &   genuine   solicitude.   their   focus,   unquestionable   as   they   remained   fixed   upon   the   delicate   task   at   hand.   “ there   are   some   horrible,   HORRIBLE   people   in   this   world.   jus’    plain   ruthless   &   cruel. ” 

“You’re beautiful, my wife, you know that ?” He whispered gently before he started kissing her neck.

“Did I miss you?” He hums in thought, teasing and exagerated as he saunters towards Kassandra. “Yes, you could say I did.” Arno grinned as he closed the distance between them. “I wondered where you had gone, cher gardienne.”

     Ratonhnhake:ton swatted at her hand, fixing his hair shortly afterwards.  “I am not a kid.  If I can hunt and help provide for my people that makes me a man.”  He was adamant, though there was no heat behind his wrods, no anger, just a simple statement of face.

    “While I am most certain that such a way of thinking has been of great reward to you, I feel that this situation can be handled much differently. It just requires a little FINESSE.”
