loooool  probably  the  time  i  got  accused  of  being  an  ab*se  apologist  by  someone  for  shipping  duncan/courtney  from  to.tal  drama  and  “force  shipping”  with  them  when  THEY  were  the  ones  who  sent  me  ship  related  asks  for  that  pairing.  like  ???  what????  they  would  also  raid  my  entire  tag  for  that  pairing  and  reblog  it  and  tag  it  as  a  duncan/gwen  and  then  when  i  got  tired  of  them  and  was  like  “ fuck  this  BS ”  on  the  dash,  they  sent  me  anon  hate  and  vagued  about  me  for  a  whole  day.  like  leave  me  the  fuck  alone??  go  for  a  walk???  it’s  a  fucking  cartoon,  mate. 

      ❛    oh  ,  y’know  ,   only  everywhere  !    ❜           she  teases,    voice  lilting  to  ease  any  anxieties  he  may  have.        a  queens  summons  was  the  easiest  way  to  do  things  around  here,    but  glimmer  feels  strange    flaunting    the  title  around  now  when  she  can  just  as  easily  reach  out  on  even  ground.      she’s  been  trying  to   LISTEN   to  her   friends  a  lot  more,    because  that’s  what  they  were  to  her    ;     not  just  soldiers  on  a  battlefield,   but  friends  that  she  keeps  tucked  safely  away  in  her  heart.        still,   as  much  as  she  likes  to  save  the  diplomacy  for  etherian  restoration  meetings    (  which  there  have  been  a  lot  of  ,  ),      there’s  still  only  so  many  times  she  can  teleport  around  on  a  wild  goose  chase  without  getting  dizzy.       she’s  on  her  throne  when  he  enters,   but  pops  up  and  flutters  over  to  him  the  second  she  clocks  that  it’s  finally  time  to  share  her  exciting  news  !

     a  shower  of  glitter  rains  upon  him  as  she  settles  at  his  side,    barely  able  to  keep  her  grin,   growing  ever  -  wider,    from  spilling  off  her  cheeks.       from  there,   glimmer  takes  his  arm  and  wraps  a  wing  around  him    ;     a  sign  that  says,     walk  with  me  !    we  have  so  much  to  discuss  now  that  we  have  a  moment  to  each  other.    

       HE STILL MAKES HER LAUGH.                even  if  he  cannot  hear  it  through  the  great  divide,  it  is  there:   a  sweet  chime  so  powerful  it  turns  low  tides  to  high  ones.       the  moon  watches  him  from  her  crescent  seat,   misses  him  as  he  tries  to  make  conversation,   and  wishes  she  could  be  there  to  touch  a   gentle  hand   to  his  cheek.         her   BRAVE  WARRIOR    makes  his  way  around  the  world,   but  still  allots  time  for  her,   keeping  their  love  alive  during  the  hours  she  cannot.        they  chase  each  other  constantly,   the  moon  and  sun  that  they  are.       (     ❛      i  think  someone  is  coming  ,      ❜    )        moonlight  illuminates  the  avatar  as  he  approaches,    as  he  asks  sokka  a  question  with  an  answer  so  sad  she  remembers  how  it  feels  to  weep.       but  she  doesn’t.       she  watches,  waxes,  wanes  and  waits  for  aang  to  exit,   knowing  that  they  will  reunite   SOON  ENOUGH.       yes,   in  due  time,   the  moon  will  touch  team  avatar  again    ;      but  for  now,   it  is  just  them,   moon  and  sun.    their  constant  secret.     

      the  moon  shines  as  bright  as  she  can  for  him.        the  moon  controls  the  tides,   aids  the  waterbenders,   keeps  the  world  in  balance.      BUT  IT  IS  YUE  THAT  LOVES,     and  that  will  always  love  him.       (     ❛    i  really  do  cherish  our  time  together.      ❜     )           somewhere  in  the  world,   a  waterbender  lands  a  perfect  hit.        and  he  thanks  the  strength  of  yue.        (    ❛     and  you,   sokka.      i  cherish  you.     ❜    )
