jason is beaming. he is, in one word. excited. finally, bruce is allowing him to spend time with the justice league, sure, he had seen them a couple of times. but he is there to aid them (even if it’s as cannon fodder, as a distraction in bright colors to the enemy, he doesn’t mind). “is donna around?” the boy lights up, interest peak at the sight of diana. sure, he knows that donna is busy elsewhere, being normal or helping the titans, but he likes the wonder girl. bruce would say he has a crush. he isn’t denying or confirming anything. “or maybe a new wonder girl? because that would be so cool. more people kickin’ criminals asses.” and jason is impacient, one could see in his eyes. when he wasn’t working, he was always like this, aching for a new mission, to do justice, to punish those wicked out of the streets.

he had always respected the woman. probably the main reason why he haven’t done like his old man and bailed. but he never interacted much with those from the league. at least, not from the big ones. bruce was his boss (his father), he admired superman but the man was too cookie cutter for his taste, even when jason was robin and tried to be as good. and wonder woman? he respects her, and admire her as with the other amazons. donna comes to mind, the only one who he has even remotely something of a friendly relationship. and then, of course, artemis. but the redhead was trouble. and so was he. “i can’t see the reason why i’m here. if bruce isn’t here, then, what is the point? I don’t answer to anyone. and I don’t owe anyone an explanation.” was he being judged now? by the justice league? he would find that ironic. and a little exciting if he was younger. green eyes look back at diana and sighs, his head turning to avoid the glance; branded J scar exposed to her. “did bruce put you up to this? is he going to lock me up now?”
