This is what happens when you have a good bundle of rolls on a First Edition Daemon creation with the base of a tiger-chimera and human. Metal-bodied with a skull head and twinned serpent tails. Fudged some rolls in the chaos attributes but kept the originals apart of her character; from the Fear of Blood being an aversion to Khorne to Silly Walk being she doesn’t know to be on her toes or heels.
This beef of a daemon got 3 rolls of daemon strength, decided not to put her in daemonic armour +1 in this picture but a greek/romaneseque toga to fit her almost Demeter vibes and then her Daemon Weapon.
Three rolls of Daemon Weapon; one is essentially a hellblade and another with a bound Slaaneshi daemon prince, combined together into a great sword with the two spirits constantly battling one another to exhaustion and back again, keeping an equilibrium for Grimnia to control it. The blade being halved into a violet quartz-like crystal holding daemonic vines and a wisp of gaseous essence (don’t sniff) and hellfire in the warped Khornate half, the icons on the quillon and the blade’s tip becoming a fan-out width.
Grimnia’s personal attributes (or symbols) are;
The Ledger of Grimnia, being the total mom that she is for her favoured, she keeps names of her Liberators (the whole regiment) and keep track of their accomplishments. She gets others who end up worshipping her like the planet population of farmers and citizens with few making it on the list.
The Queen’s Horn is a hunting horn taken from the broken horn of a Bloodthirster from her unbirth in the Warp, claiming it with her twin sister claiming the same greater daemon’s spine. Carved and hollowed out, Grimnia uses it to call upon her faithful. It is the apocalyptic knell that rang through the planet and caused it to rebel against the Imperium.
And The Throne’s Hive, the resin-carved throne is actually an outer mound of daemon bees. The souls of her chosen chartered and shaped into the saviours of her world even after death. With the warped bodies of caretakers still with features of their mortal faces, her Chosen serve as her eyes, ears and voice outside of her Den. Even in time of need, they reform into the materium as Chaos-filled champions and familiars to aid the regiment and warband.
The Daemon’s personal sigil is the Undivided Eightfold wheel in the shape of a rising sun and beehive.
All of this, she has her own lesser and greater daemons that have an almost brotherly kinship with her mortal chosen. As a Daemon of her own minor godly right, Grimnia is a foe that few wants to make but thankfully she have a benevolence of a fae. She focuses on blessing and watching over her mortals with a surprising human facade about her. However, death is but another phase her and she cradle the souls given to her to be reborn anew.
Undivided as she is, I enjoy the influences of Nurgle and Slaanesh that I initially had her still shine in their way. Much better than I originally imagined for this bean.
