Saw someone call Larynde a "hooker" and i'll be very honest with you. I don't think she is a "hooker" and either way, why would it matter if she was?
Anyway, a Crooner is a type of singer who performs with a smooth, intimate style that originated in the 1920s. Said style was made possible thanks to improved microphones, which picked up quieter sounds and a larger array of frequencies than before, which allowed the singer to access a greater dynamic range, and allowed singers to exploit the proximity effect.
Either way, i would still see nothing wrong with depicting her as a sex worker, and calling her a hooker is distateful, and i think the person who called her such should be ashamed.
