they’d been hanging out for an hour now and a lull in conversation began to develop, leaving the two to sit in silence. one would think that silence is something that alden would enjoy, and usually it would be, but not when she’s hanging out with someone. wasn’t the whole point to talk and catch up? the blonde grabbed the closest thing to her, a stale french fry from the fast food they ate earlier, and tossed it at him. a pretty good shot, honestly.

who steals french fries off the other’s plate: odette. but again — emma would share if she asked <3 

who jokingly moves in for the kiss when someone asks if they’re a couple: emma honestly WOULD but i also worry odette would kill her for it. 

who has to bust or bail the other out of jail: is this even a question? emma bails odette out. second actual question: can you pay for bail in quarters and promises to bake cookies? bc i don’t think you can. 

who gives the other advice/comfort about dating issues: emma tries to give it to odette, odette doesn’t listen. odette tells emma she is an idiot and men suck over every dating issue. emma does listen, but does not follow it because she is an idiot and men suck. 

who shamelessly cheats at games by reaching over to cover the other’s eyes: they both cheat shamelessly, which is why when they play with jack, he always loses. when it’s just emma and odette, odette wins because she is stronger and cooler than emma. 

who immediately calls dibs on the top bunk: emma calls dibs, and odette decides she wants it and gets it anyway. if emma doesn’t call dibs, and asks odette is she wants it, odette tells her to stop acting 12 and they are grown women who do not have bunk bed preferences. 

who starts and who wins the pillow fights: odette starts them and wins them. it’s not a pillow fight, it’s odette beating emma with a pillow until she agrees to pay for the pizza.
