Thereβs a bitter irony in that.Β

Still, with Wardβs arms wrapped around his waist like a life line and those lips moving against his in a desperate fashion, itβs easy to forget the lies.Β
In the morning he leaves before Ward wakes up, just as he always has.

Itβs no less than a month later that he finds himself booking a motel room outside of Nashville and promising himself once again that this is the last time.Β
