When first built, silver with the paint job of beige, he had the intention of being sent off to the war, but for the first two years at the Brennan Manor, Russ actually acted and was much like a son-like figure to Augustus and his wife Carolina, who could not bare children, and was quickly apart of the family - making his shipment to fight in the war even harder.

In 1943, it was a tough day out in the field, and MKW2 had noticed all of the men out in the field that were wounded and bloody, and had grown distracted. With that being said, he failed to notice a grenade coming his way, the other side knowing that he was a big help of their enemies, and exploded in a many pieces.

Once the battle field had calmed down, and every man was either fixed up or prayed for, several soldiers, who knew how important MKW2 was to his maker took the time to try to find as many pieces of the poor automaton as they could, before shipping his remains back to Augustus. He had gotten the package, devastated, and tried his best to put his son back together, which took years with how bad his shape was - and he was so close to finishing, so close to having his son back, until he had a sudden aneurysm, and passed away, leaving Russ unfinished and stuck in the workplace/basement, to rust and collect dust for the years to come until somebody finds him.

(Now, if somebody would like to roleplay with Russ in the future, this is usually where I would stop, but me and my friend have had our own RP with him, so I will continue on, for those who want a happy ending)

Back in 2013, the great grandson of Augustus Brennan, Daniel, was now living in the manor, which had been passed onto each Brennan of each generation since Augustus. Along with the manor, a toy company was passed as well, that Daniel’s grandfather had started back in the day. Daniel was a bit of a spoiled one, who wanted one of the latest and greatest automation on the market, but his servants had found a robot almost rusted away.entirely in their basement. Disgusted in it’s state, he was about to just throw the bot away, until it was turned on and he found out that it had belonged to his great grandfather’s invention. 

From then on out. Daniel had fixed up Russ, gave him new pieces and bits, and even a new paint job of teal and a lovely mint green for accents (Very retro atomic). Daniel, though still very judging and a bit bratty, had made Russ his new servant, and after a few mistakes here and there, from Russ trying to remember things and getting his hard drive right after so many years, Daniel had learned to accept Russ for all he was, and he was now a very humble part of the new family that every maid and Daniel loved. 

Russ is now definitely not as serious as he was in the war, back to his old loving and child like ways that he was back when he was with his maker, but tends to stutter and forget some things because of his old age.

Russ continues to give Daniel a single fresh flower in a small cup of water from the garden outside, to compliment the breakfast that he always brings him in the morning. Russ doesn’t know this, but Daniel has secretly pressed and dried out each and every one to keep in a book, appreciating every single flower, since day one.
