15: What did you learn from writing this fic?
Hahahah.....be prepared for some twisted answers here. One of the biggest things I had to research when I was constructing the story was the rate a body decomposes.
Yup. Did a lot of research on decomposition. I learned that it really depends on the environment the body is in. I needed to know this so I could get the timeline right for the date of death between victims and what they possibly could learn from said body. I got most of my information on decomposition on a biohazard cleanup website....so yeah, those people that come in and clean up crime scenes.
THEY HAVE A WEBSITE! That was a fun fact I learned too.
I learned about injection in to a vein and how the veins would blow if done improperly; some peoples veins are harder to find than others. I learned about the side effects and general knowledge around the drug Dilauded-although to be fair, I spent a good time around hospice nurses and had a good bit of information already...this was more like fact checking more so than actual research.
There is one other bit of information I learned that is SUPER important..but can’t say what without giving a way a spoiler I’ve been hinting at during the duration of the story.
Well, two things now that I think of it....
