Han smiles at the statement. Only because his situation entirely relates to the other’s words so much, that it somehow felt amusing in his eyes. “Hm, I guess you’re right,” the male hums in response, feeling the centuries aged compass in his hand. The item wasn’t special in any way. It worked like any other magical compass would. Though to Han’s observation -- the compass seemed to have a canny ability to lead him towards strangers who’d become quite significant in his life. Well, most of the time.
The long-haired man wasn’t sure what his encounter would mean for him and this -- doe-eyed man, Han noted -- would mean, but the latter was optimistic enough to stick around for awhile to find out what fate has in stored for them. “Thank you for holding onto this, it’s quite precious to me.”
“And as a way to express my gratitude, I’d like to offer you something. That’s if you’d wish to accept it.” Han says with a cordial smile.
