Where: The Mousehole When: Present Day @wandas-warped-reality
They were turning thirty in less than a week. They were turning thirty in less than a week. Six months ago that thought would have just made Pietro sad and he would have done his best to forget about it. But six months ago he’d thought Wanda was dead and wouldn’t have had anyone to celebrate with besides. Things were different now though not exactly back to normal how Pietro wanted them to be. He was largely trying to ignore that. Maybe focusing on birthday plans could help
“What are we going to do for our birthday?” He stopped right beside Wanda as if they’d already been having a conversation and he hadn’t just appeared there. He’d basically been doing it ever since they’d gotten their powers so she should be well used to it by now. “We have to do something. Think we could fill the castle with balloons? We also have to have cake.” Pietro had very easily fallen back into everything being ‘we’ since he’d never been comfortable as just an ‘I’ but that was...another difference he was avoiding. If he ignored it hard enough it was bound to stop happening, right? Maybe his speed made him more prone to trying to run away from problems than he should’ve been but he couldn’t seem to help it. They’d brushed over it at that party a while ago, when the thorny problem had come up, but he hadn’t really wanted to broach the subject since.
“Who do you think we can get to do ridiculous things because it’s our birthday? There must be some who would grant birthday wishes.” Pietro grinned at the idea, wondering how might be the best candidates for it.
