Wanaccessory retro MLP decorations. These are meant to attach to Wanaccessory backpacks and purses, but you could add craft store snaps to anything you want them to clip onto. :)

Oh, I also ordered one of these off Taobao!  And tbh I’m really tempted to order the Firefly and Sand Digger one as well.

As far as I can tell, they are designed to snap onto various Wanaccessory merch (in the pictures they’re attached to sunglasses cases), but I feel like someone with craft skills could put snaps on almost anything to utilize them?

Not because of copyright conflicts--they’re licensed--but probably just the natural cycle of “out with the old, in with the new.”  The timing does fit since they’ve been on Taobao for at least one year.

Still, very sad . . . I had just learned that China has a “Black Friday” sort of event on November 11th every year and I was hoping they would go on sale and I could pick up more items.

Even though they were so ephemeral, I’m so glad I learned about their existence at all, and had time to order at least a couple of the products.

I found a video showing the Wanaccessory / MLP debut!  Including the vice president of marketing(?) of Hasbro China, Keren Cheung, cutting a big ribbon to reveal a huge MLP themed “train ticket.”

So I already have the Twinkle Eye one of these and I gave in and ordered the Rocker one. <3

I was thinking of offering to buy these for other people if they were interested but they are pretty spendy?  So I don’t know if anyone would be interested.  This is the breakdown of expenses:

SO YEAH, expensive!  But I figured I’d offer, just in case.  I fricking love my TE one.  Or if anyone is interested in the other Wanaccessory stuff, I can price that out.

(I’m in the US, so shipping would be cheapest to other US addresses and  more expensive if you live in a different country.  $9 for US addresses is a guess on my part.)
