moon eon leroux is being a needy baby! 

               the moment moon settles on his lap,  like a small animal hiding in the comforts of a cavern,  away from the biting jaws of the cold,  saturn flings his arms around the other’s bigger frame and holds him close.  recently,  moon is acting  more affectionate ——— needy almost.  it feels as if moon has finally allowed himself to be a child.  to be  H I S  child.  his favorite son. 

               there has never been a moment where saturn didn’t long for moon to become a part of his family.  to be adopted,  to live in his house,  to hear his footsteps padding across the kitchen,  to watch him eat food on the dinner table then go to bed.  this is the kind of life he wanted for him,  the kind of happiness he wanted moon to have.  and while it took a treacherously long time to achieve it,  saturn lets himself bask in the presence of moon eon leroux in his home. 

               saturn breathes in the fact that moon’s shoes are awaiting in the mudroom;  the thought that his toothbrush,  his comb,  his shampoo are hanging around in the bathroom;  that he can listen to moon’s heartbeat as he sleeps,  wrapped inside the arms of the boy he loves,  far smaller than he is.  there’s nothing more fulfilling as a parent than watching your children grow up to be such wonderful human beings ——— flawed,  beautiful,  survivors. 

I’m so bad with subtle puns. I legit just figured this out a year ago, and I’ve been playing the games since I was four.
