meg wears a sleek velvet dress with a slit along her thigh that reaches up to her waist, the gap covered by a jewelled lace design. she has a matching velvet cap on her head, evoking a 1920s style. simple eye makeup. a purse she can quickly sling across her torso if needed. she had a star-and-moon brooch that she wore on her neckline, before gifting it to ian lightfoot ( because his simple suit was just too sad to look at ).

green suit pants, black shirt, purple socks, black boots. orange-lens sunglasses. a black coat embroidered with florals, with gold cushiony lining. yards of charisma.

“rizz” as the kids say. 

thoughts :  he went to the serena fain school of ‘making the most out of thrift store finds because you have no money’ and then added a class of his own called ‘and then ask the kind laundry lady to fix that tattered hem because this was the one thing that was gonna put the entire outfit together’. 

nick wilde threw on that floral embroidered, gold lined coat to complete the look and said: “ well, fuck me, i guess. ” trash and treasure, baby. he loved it. he honestly didn’t expect this to look this good. he’d honestly thought he’d have nothing to wear but his dad’s old formal suit (which deserves its own trauma deepdive that he didn’t want to go into). it was a cause of annoyance for a whole week because this was his first ball, and he didn’t want to wear just a suit. but the outfit all came together, thank god. it was a risk, but he pulled it off (which just seems to be nick wilde’s way).

Full Moon Ball 2023: KIT CHARMONT ♛･*˚

his royal highness, prince kit, wears head-to-toe dolce & gabbana. a silk skirt with a matching silken neck scarr. grey trousers with a nailshead pattern. he wears velvet shoes. the pièce de résistance is a cape with intricate embroidery, inspired by neoclassic paintings of food.

thoughts : kit saw the fruit bowl cape and said “i must have that”. but no, really, since the dawn of time, kit has had to wear formalwear as dictated by the grand duke and what’s expected of a prince. usually just his ulstead military uniform, or a prince’s formal suit. this time, upon hearing of the ball, the grand duke (as usual) sent his recommendations to prince kit as “the crown prince not only represents himself at a ball, but also ulstead”. it seemed even in ‘hiding’, kit still had to follow the rules. 

but no more. this time, he wanted something fun, something breathable — something as light and comfortable as he felt nowadays. hence, the fruit bowl cape <3
