2/2 - ….i was taking the megabus (sup) back to school in 2010, with a couple hr ride ahead of me i put on 'the cove' mildly aware of its content... WELL.. 92min later seeing the credits rolling, between trying to keep it cool (bawling my eyes out) and not loose my emotional shit I was questioning my e n t i r e life... Why the f--- was I going back to school!?! when there was THIS going down in the world... This was The turning point for the direction and intent my art would take. 8 years later (getting kinda emotional thinking bout this now haha.. ugh) I'm pumped I'm bridging my passion with what I love to do... feels like a conversation that's only becoming loader and one I'm grateful to be creating. . Since the making of this documentary in 2009 dolphin slaughter and capture in Japan has declined annually from 23,000 to 6,000. The hunts are still ongoing, change doesn't happen over night..but it does happen. It's necessary. For up-to-date cove days check @dolphin_project on current happenings. .
