#lecorbusier's monolithic General Assembly at United Nations designed in 1947. Underneath this dome is where leaders of the world have met and envisioned the future for the last 65 years. Even though the architectural council, lead by #wallaceharrison had chosen #oscarniemeyer's proposal, Le Corbusier managed to some how sweet talk his design of the assembly into the complex. I need to know, is there a cartoon out there somewhere of Le Corbusier weaseling his way into things? (at United Nations Headquarter)
