@wallace-cup Dana’s Appeal Emogla: Aerial Ace, Air Slash, Discharge Carracosta: Surf
When it was her turn, Dana knew she had to be strong. It would not do to be so nervous on her spectacular day. Recorder in hand, Dana- who was off to the side- motioned to her Emolga to look alert. The Pokemon shuffled nervously and wiggled its hands. Dana shushed them and they quickly turned serious. Finally the cue to go on started. After positioning her fingers on the recorder, Dana walked out with her Emogla trailing behind her. Marching forward, Dana made little swaying motions to the as she played the recorder, displaying her sense of rhythm, which was something Dana excelled in. The Emolga wiggled its hands in time to the music, mimicking their trainer's movements. The child wanted to make it look as simple as possible. Nobody suspecting the theatrics to come. And she would hide it well if she kept her Emolga in line, which she did. Every once in a while, Dana would smile up at the others, but would try to look serious. This was hard as she kept breaking out in smiles. Even the Emolga was having issues with being serious. Both trainer and Pokemon were simply happy to be there and nothing would stop them from having a lot of fun. Yes, it was a contest, but it was also really fun and a good way to make new friends!      In her little sailor dress, she greatly matched the ocean theme. The Emolga was not dressed up as Dana did not want to overwhelm the eyes just yet. The real surprise would come soon: a dazzling surprise. Emolga then hopped up and soared up over the crowd, handing out candies as it flew by, making a few turns in the air.       Dana suddenly stopped with her back to the crowd when the song was over. The child put one foot forward and turned on her heel, now facing the crowd. With the sweep of her arms, the Emolga flew back down to her and landed on her shoulder again. Dana pulled out a pink microphone. Dana then put a pointer finger up and held up the hand with her ring on it. The arm whose hand was holding the microphone went over her forehead and she spread her feet slightly. The ring began to glow and out shot a beam of light. The beam exploded high up in mid-air, a shower of sparkles raining down slowly around her. Her bubble machine, which was off to the side and out of sight, shot out bubbles, which floated along with the glitter in the air. The bubbles caught the light of the sun and sparkled. Carracosta used a very light Surf, which made the surf spray upwards and mingle with the bubbles and sparkles. Dana slowly straightened and began to sing in Japanese: (Translated)
❝ A girl that's different from a boy is Just love or hate and no "normal" But if you fall in love with her She'll show some magic, I promise A girl's heart can Float the moonshaped little boat in the starry sky Can even search for dreams Love a delicate one, a delicate one Love me, love me, love me It seems too late if you feel hate "Sayonara" overfloods my heart With people I have no interest in, I can't be together, not even for a second* A girl's heart can Shine like the seven colors of the rainbow Change simply by the breeze of the wind Love a delicate one, a delicate one Love me, love me, love me A girl's heart can Float the moonshaped little boat in the starry sky Can even search for dreams Love a delicate one, a delicate one Love me, love me, love me”            As she sang, a scent of strawberries wafted over the crowd along with the bubbles and glitter, which was still falling as Dana sang. It was from her bubble machine. Dana's mother put a scent in the bubble solution. The wind picked up slightly from Emolga’s Aerial Ace and Dana's hair blew about lightly. Her head was tilted up slightly, her voice carried up by the wind, making it sound fleeting. The last note died away, echoing off into the sky. Emolga then used Discharge on the bubbles, making them pop, and used Air Slash to blow the sparkles from the bubbles upwards and into the sunny sky. All at once, When the song ended, Dana clasped her hands in front of her and bowed, causing her little sailor hat to fall off.      ❝'m only seven. But I'll do my best.❞      Dana then quickly grabbed her hat and scrambled off, tripping a bit in the sand.
