My hand is recovering very slowly. I can only draw for a few moments before things start feeling tender, so Iβm listening to my body and stopping when this happens. Itβs tricky, cos my brain wants to enter that βflow stateβ. Ideas are being shaped and it desperately wants to run!
But the way Iβve been drawing has been hurting me, so things need to change. Iβm trying to hold my pen is a different way, using support gloves, a wider grip and measuring my hands for some finger splints to stop my fingers bending backwards without me noticing.
