2. You meet a man who has killed someone and done time for it before. Does this factor into how you treat him? Will he ever truly escape that sin?
...well, friend, i think itâd have to say itâs situational.Â
you never know the lives of the people around you. you canât ever judge a man âtill youâve walk two moons in his moccasins. a man whoâs killed many can be a great man than one whoâs killed none. whether it be in self defense, or for mercy, or just plain olâ murder, you need to know the story behind it before you throw him to the wolves.Â
and iâve come to learn, from experience, that you can never escape that kinda sin. itâs a mighty tough thing to accept, but you just gotta do it. you just gotta understand that sometimes youâll get blood on your hands and thereâs nothinâ you can do to change the past. you just gotta build yourself a better future.Â
5. Is it better to hurt others before they hurt you or let yourself be walked all over and hurt by others?
i donât much like hurtinâ nobody, honest.Â
âsides, donâtcha think itâs a little bit shit to assume the worst in everybody like that? ya donât know if theyâre gonna hurt ya, youâre just paranoid, and that hurts ya enough to begin with.
i can understand that part though, âcause itâs easy to be suspicious of people once ya been hurt already.
15. Is lying to others to gain their approval more important than being genuine and hated?
all men are liars.
every man, woman, and child in this planet is a liar. there ainât a damn person on earth who ainât ever told a lie. ya lie for approval, ya lie for safety, ya lie for a living.Â
lying ainât always a bad thing, mind you.Â
donât you like stretchinâ the truth too? glossing over some parts, makinâ âem more palatable, more interestinâ. isnât there a little bit of a lie in every truth said?
lyinâ sure as hell gets you places quicker, too.
25. What is more important to you? An idea of yours being used and appreciated or the credit for that idea beings yours and yours alone?
an idea of mine being used. hands down, i wanna make something thatâll carry on past my name.
but...am i a selfish man for wantinâ both?
i just donât want the world to forget it though, you feel? nobody wants tâ be forgotten...

Tyrnie ; Gnome Gunslinger
RATIONALITY
You like clarity and intelligent simplicity and you get frustrated at messy thinking. This can make you seem unreasonably pushy to some, but it is actually a virtue: you are motivated by a horror at pointless effort and a longing for precision and insight into how things and people work. Your ability to synthesise and bring order is essential in producing thinking which is truly helpful.
SHYNESS
Part of you is gripped by the fear that youâll launch into something and completely mess it up. The upside of this is wise caution: people are indeed often too rash, whereas you know, by instinct, that holding back can save you. Probably, you feel shame and self-disgust a bit too much. But when you do feel in your element, you act with a wisdom and sensitivity never found in people with thicker skins.
MISANTHROPY
You have seen the darker side of human nature, even in daily life. When you look beneath the surface everyone is pretty messed up; thereâs more selfishness circulating that others admit. You are never surprised by the stupidity of others, even though it annoys you. Your streak of misanthropy is, in fact, a requirement of remaining sane. Youâve wisely come to terms with your need to sometimes confidently reject people.
You are good at making decisions; you have a clear sense of what needs to be done and what others should be doing. Played out inside yourself, this tendency drives you to value willpower and self-control. You may be accused of bossiness. But acting on your desire to dissuade, restrain or guide is often appreciated by others â who might secretly like a clear direction, and some firmness.
INDEPENDENCE
You donât set out to be different for its own sake; you are more easily guided by what interests and moves you. You are more concerned about what is right for you than about the pressure to fit in. In sex you are more aware than others of impulses which are not entirely conventional. You know the value of selective irresponsibility, of forgetting occasionally about being âgoodâ.
EXHIBITIONISM
Thereâs a strand in your nature which loves making an impression â perhaps with your clothes, or conversation, or in a self-revealing blog or a novel. You like to dramatise yourself, to pose as a unique, perhaps mysterious person, to joke or exaggerate your part in adventures. Though you might more than once have been called a show off, it is actually a generous tendency: you want to please and entertain others. It could be the start of good teaching and leadership.

ORDERLINESS
You love it when everything is neat and tidy: when there is a proper way of doing things, and you can tick things off the to-do list and know where everything is. So others, at times, are to you unbearably sloppy and messy. And you run into things that canât be ordered (a child, a partner, a colleague at work) which drives you slightly nuts. But your desire for order is a good one when it is focussed where it is needed and when youâre okay with a bit of mess.

AGGRESSION
One part of your character is anger in all its forms: frustration, outrage â and when anger is suppressed â bitterness, grumpiness, and bodily aches. Fundamentally, frustration comes from hope: you get upset because you expect your life will be more than a valley of tears. One way to deny aggression is to direct it inwards, as self-criticism. But youâre at your best when you acknowledge anger, and act it out clearly and in a focussed way, with honour.

In sex you are more aware than others of impulses which are not entirely conventional. You know the value of selective irresponsibility, of forgetting occasionally about being âgoodâ.
SENSITIVITY
You have delicate, sensitive perceptions; you can be deeply moved by appearances â the right light in a room, or good food, or the texture of a piece of clothing. Expressive, intelligent language has a powerful hold on you; your mind works better when it is inspired and provoked by vivid imagery. It can be sad to live in a world which is often so ugly and not properly looked after. But you know that things can be otherwise, and you have the ability to appreciate the world at its best.
PLAYFULNESS
You are good at seeing whatâs funny, at relaxing and finding the pleasure of the moment. Play is random, whimsical, fantasy-driven behaviour which releases internal tension. Because it is detached from some pressures it allows you to act on weirder, perhaps neglected, parts of yourself. The downside is that it is no help in sticking with things that are not much fun but which need to be addressed. So it is well complemented by its opposite, Stoicism.
Anghel ; Half Elf Half Atrial Wizard
AMBITION
You have a strong sense of potential and an intense drive to accomplish difficult things. The core of this is your ability to hold together the big goals and the daily efforts. Where other peopleâs hopes collapse when they encounter the tedium of the journey, you keep coming back. Oddly, it is actually your ability to endure feeling unheroic that counts. You know the power of working away solidly on whatâs in front of you.

shout out to how mogars entire character is based off of what i imagine the stereotypical con man magician to be like, a book that i read, a book that i DIDNT read but know the basic concept about, and a movie i ALSO didnât watch and ACTUALLY know nothing about but i just saw the title and ran with it
i love how my main trio of ocs are all loosely connected to one another
mogae and tyrnie have an intense rivalry and they are Acquantices at Best but if they saw eye to eye theyâd be best friends
atty and tyrnie are bad wives club where they just get together and get drunk off of wine and vent about their trauma
and mogar was the first man in attys life to ever show her kindness, and he was her introduction into the real world. he let her stay at the home and she watched the whirlwind of children he looked after and the people who saw him as a hero and she left when he died in his bed surrounded by everyone he loved. atty stood in the back, feeling awkward, and he called her over and told her âyou and i arenât so different, little flame. itâs gonna be alright.â and without him she would be in an even worse state than she already is.
that last one got away from me a bit but itâs the most concrete part iâve got and i adore it.

âHow does it feel to stand on the very stones that ran with your parentâs blood?
Do you feel sad? Full of rage? Or does that outfit help bury your feelings?
Hiding your true self?
Youâre truly an extraordinary specimen; I look forward to breaking youâ
@damn-bard the best part is!!! Mogar initially didn't even want to go to college!!! He was a delinquent kid that was barely at school and when he WAS at school he was failing miserably and being harassed because he'd wear the same three shirts and two pairs of jeans every day. High School was not a good environment for him. He felt like an idiot. He was street smart, not book smart. He Knew people. He knew how to get by on the streets, how the streets take care of you if you do the same for them. What they teach you. But he was...inspired... He got a school crush. One of those really intense ones, yknow? On someone a year above him. Named Luce. And at one point Luce started "tutoring" Mogar just, helping him with his work and studies. Daily reminders to do homework and insistences on going to school. And he opened himself up to Luce, and introduced them to his siblings, all the little kids in the town with fucked up homes that he took care of. Mogar graduated with straight B's. He was accepted into his first choice. (Second choice, but he'll never tell anyone. He's still damn proud.) And he started off small. He didn't know what he wanted to study, he just knew that he wanted it to be something he could use to help people. Help kids like him. Help kids like his siblings. So he majored in Child Psychology, figuring he could land a job in Protective Services or something. He minored in Computer Sciences cause he was just a litttttleeeee bit of a mad scientist that liked taking things apart and turning them into something new and cool and...weird, tbh. And he couldn't get enough. He started getting braver, he started putting more on his plate. He had big expectations for his future now. Now he was something he never was, he was ambitious. He goes back to school, a really nice university this time, and starts studying History Education and High School Education, mostly, but also Elementary Education. He realized he wanted to be a teacher. He was going to be a damn good teacher, too. Like, Professor Mark Watney levels of damn good. He wanted to be that teacher that helped his kids, that inspired them, they made them love learning, that gave them the head start he never got. So he did.
