@walk-through-hell is getting close and personal.
It happened twice or thrice. Roy didn’t necessarily target illegal fighting on purpose, only those who were particularly aimed to be nasty, be it through the transactions or traps thrown at the fighters which could potentially permanently harm them, or when those gatherings were a foul disguise to schemes that’d affect the innocents way more than the already nefarious systems did. He was only one man, he had to set up his priorities.
Meeting Akira all those times wasn’t something he did on purpose. Like he just promised, the redhead wouldn’t lecture the boy, only give him a bit of a frown. If possible, Roy would spar with everyone but the young lad, keeping him for last before leaving, with the fighting wounds disguising that the raven would have been beaten too. However, if push came to shove, some good pressure point were enough to paralyze the younger’s limbs... or if Akira showed himself to actually want to stop Roy in front of his bosses, a good old knockout would do the trick. The samurai did all in his power to spare grave wounds to the ones in the wrong place at the wrong time, or souls which energy didn’t feel corrupted, only people making poor choices. However, he could not get everything right, for decisions on battlefield were to be made quickly, and bullets, when someone was lucky enough to have the chance to take out a gun, were quite unforgiving.
This time around, Roy found Akira in the fighters’ locker room, perhaps waiting for his next fight. Only as the warrior had thrown one of his victim at the old door, unhinging it in the process as it fell onto the ground alongside the newly unconscious person, the redhead only shook his head at the sight of the young fighter as he sheathed his blade.
“You look like the last person. I―”
His sixth sense caused him to quickly grab onto the handle of his weapon, unsheathing quickly as the handle tip caused a crack at another fighter’s sternum, causing him to, too fall to the ground atop the his colleague laying on the broken door.
Roy took a second of silence to ascertain that they were, truly, alone. His posture was perfect, impeccable, yet there were still sign of his efforts, as he breathed heavily, with some sweat falling off his silky bangs, horizontal splashes of blood showing here and there on his pale skin as sign of the more direct damage his weapon had caused.
“As I was saying...... you’re lucky you’re the last person. I might just let you go. Granted you know how to lie. I’d hate to have your boss think you’re a mole. I’m sure you can picture the few things they’d do to you if they believed so... so, how was your night, Akira-kun ? Still in one piece, I see.”
