The Beatles don’t have time to look after everybody else. They have to save their own skin first. I’ve never seen anybody like that, actually, even now, Paul’s good at that. He could be in a great, thick crowd of people at a concert or something, and has a way of, like, just walking sideways, around and … he got where he was going…He just knows how to do it, uh, from all those years. Incredible, really. And I’m sure there are lots of other stars who have developed that ability as well.
And it was almost life-or-death, though, with him at one point. Because if those great gangs of kids got hold of him, they – you, you could get your hair ripped out and everything you know, pretty bad.
