I sense this as a word of encouragement for many. Many of you are pressing in for hopes and dreams and long-awaited fulfillment of desires. The Lord would say to you in this moment, “Don’t take the bait. Just wait.” Don’t take the counterfeit fulfillment the devil is offering you in this season. Don’t settle for second best. This good thing you have your eyes set on is not good enough. DON'T TAKE THE BAIT! JUST WAIT. What the Lord has planned for you is just over the horizon, and it’s better than you can imagine. It will make what is standing before you now look like a hand-me down rent-a-dream in comparison. What God has in store for you is far better by comparison. {Just wait.} Likewise, there are those who are bringing opposition in your path. {Don’t take the bait. Just wait.} The bait of satan is offense. If he can get you to agree with opposition’s offense then all your acts of faith and perseverance for the things you’ve been waiting on God for will be for not. Faith requires Love (see Galatians 5:6). {Don’t take the bait!} If you tear apart your brother, you will offend not only his soul but yours also. {Just wait.} Let the mockery and scorn come at you. Stand proud and beautiful like the resilient little bird and let your song be melodic and powerful. DON'T TAKE THE BAIT. JUST WAIT. You are tenacious and beautiful. Wise and full of wonder. {Don’t take the bait. Just wait.} And, your powerful song will fill the heavens when His Glory comes down upon you, a sight unimaginable that will overwhelm your senses and have you crying out, “But God!” Don’t take the bait, dear ones. Just wait. {Press in for your dreams} and don’t be discouraged by any clouds of confusion. God’s still holding on to them for you from the other side of the haze.
