Many @wfulawschool alumni may remember Don Scarlett, who was dean from 1979-89. Dean Scarlett, who died July 10 at 93, is remembered for improving the law school's academic reputation as well as increasing the number of faculty while decreasing the number of students to improve the faculty-student ratio. Vice President-elect Mike Pence has named @wfulaw alumnus Josh Pitcock (JD '01) as his chief of staff. Pitcock, 41, served as an aide to Pence during his time in the House of Representatives and eventually became his chief of staff there.
