Does lamictal ever make you dizzy? Idk, we think mine does, but we’re not sure…I’ve had a lot of issues with dizzy spells and we can’t seem to link it to the lamictal, but I’m just wondering if you have those symptoms too
I’ve had issues with dizziness since before I started taking lamictal. I don’t absorb sodium right and have issues with my vagus nerve (which is apparently common in bipolar disorder but there isn’t much research I can find about it). The cardiologist was the one that told me that’s what was going on.
Dizziness can come from a lot of things... low blood pressure, dehydration, fluid in the inner ear (or other problems in that area), vagus nerve problems, heart conditions, vestibular problems, low blood sugar, and like a thousand other things.
If you’ve noticed the dizziness only after starting the lamictal, it could be related. If I’m right, I believe dizziness may actually be one of the more common side affects. If it’s something that was already going on then maybe try writing down what was doing on when you felt dizzy (ex: standing up from a seated position) and see if you can find a common factor... if nothing else, it’ll help you narrow down what type of doctor to see.

A good dream that you've had.
This was just the other night.
I had a dream that my best friend and her husband (who is also a friend of mine from high school) were having a lot of marital problems because they were struggling to have children. He was talking to me about it, and one of the things I suggested to him was to get “sexy underwear.” Because sexy underwear always makes you feel a little bit better about things. =P

Tell us a funny story!
So one time when I was like 8 or 9 I was riding my scooter home from a church activity and I totally wasn’t paying attention to where I was going. I made a wrong turn at some point, and just kept going down the road. Eventually I noticed that nothing looked familiar and me not understanding how roads worked or anything I became totally lost. In my own neighborhood. The entire time I was literally less than a mile away from my house.
But I started turning down any street name that sounded familiar (getting myself even more turned around) and I was crying and praying that I would somehow get home.
It felt like an eternity at the time, but it was probably only about 45 minutes or so before this older lady was getting into her car and noticed me and asked if she could help me. I told her I was lost. She asked me where I lived. I was reluctant to tell her (stranger danger!) but I gave her the name of the street I lived on, and she assured me she knew where that was and said she could take me there. Before I got into her car I asked her if she was kidnapping me. She said no, so I got into the car with her.
I had her drop me off about a block away from my house because I was worried that she might come back to actually kidnap me later. When I got home I was so relieved (and so were my parents).
Basically I was a really dumb kid.
A list of at least ten reasons to live. If you can't think of any, post it and your followers and I will help.
Well, I’m kind of attached to living so this shouldn't be too hard. =)
