Whoa there. Are we talking losing the baby at the grocery store? Or like… losing the baby? My mind immediately went the depressing route so if you meant it the other way, sorry, I’m about to fuck up your day

Natsuki- He almost drops his usual bright attitude and smile, but then he remembers that you’re suffering, too. Instead of focusing on his own pain he makes you his number one priority. He comforts himself by comforting and taking care of you.

Tokiya- After the period of grief, Tokiya is terrified. He doesn’t want to try again in fear that he can lose another child. He says it’s because he doesn’t want to hurt you, but you can tell it’s more about hurting himself. Whenever you’re out in public and see couples with their children you notice that he looks away with a pained expression.

Cecil- He’s devastated but convinced it must have been cruel fate. To you he doesn’t seem as upset as he should be, but he really is. Later you find strange pictures of your old ultrasounds around the house and find out that he’s made shrines to honor your late child.

Ren- He’s so silent that it scares you. You can’t read his expression because it’s completely devoid of emotion. You try to call out to him but he doesn’t seem to have noticed. After a while he finally comes to and it seems as if he had just noticed that you were watching him. He tries to smile and reassure you that he’s fine but he breaks down and has to leave the room. 

Otoya- He loves kids and couldn’t wait to have some of his own. The moment he learned the baby was stillborn he had to excuse himself from the room. He was gone for quite a while, but you knew he would’ve found a quiet place to cry.

Syou- His reaction surprises you. He immediately starts crying, but after five minutes he finally looks at you and flashes a tearful grin. “I guess this was for the best, huh?” he croaks. “Time to learn from this and move on. No matter what happens, you and me together, we can get through it, right?”

Masato- He tries to appear calm and mature but it isn’t really working. He can see that you’re hurting and you’re not trying to hide it, and he imagines how he must look trying to mask the pain. He thought that if he pretended it wasn’t there, it would go away, but that isn’t the case. The more his feelings build up, the more he can’t hold it in, until eventually you catch him silently crying to himself.

Reiji- He’s making the same face he made when he found out Aine died. He tears up a little but blinks and looks away from you. “How could this have happened,” you hear him whisper but you know it wasn’t meant for you to hear. You don’t see his smiles again for a while.

Ranmaru- He’d get angry. Not at you, but the world in general. He wouldn’t act right for a while and have random outbursts, but with coaxing from you he’d finally be alright and positive and ready to try again.

Ai- He curses human life for being so fragile. He can’t seem to understand it and makes him frustrated. He considers giving up but decides that he can try to brighten up for your sake.
