So I found out that Wai-con 2016 tables are ALL GONE and they’re not even hosted at the Convention Centre. “We wanted a small convention this time” Um. One stale year does not a bad run make. Plus you skipped a year, so people are raring to go? I feel really bad for all the people that are going to miss out on hosting artists/craft stalls. Guess my prints will go to the Illustration Club’s stalls this year.

This irritating sequence of events has now lead me to a bottle of cheap pink moscato and fast food.

So, I discovered today that my most favourite convention of the year ( wai-con ) will not be happening next year. Instead they will be postponing it until 2016 due to lack of funding....(and right after the 10 year anniversary his year too)

I completely understand what they are doing, but, as expected, I am a little sad. The upside is, i have a whole extra year to plan and create cosplay for the competition.

I will now be anxiously waiting the entire year for the convention to come, and I will be even more excited than usual when it does.

Looking forward to 2016 :3

ok fangirling session over and I just wanna say wai-con was incredible and I met a tonne of DR fans and those in the Dangan Ronperth fb group too.

a big thanks to everyone I met and all my hugs to all the PAniC team who made wai-con possible for a happy 10th anniversary. and a very big congratulations to giorgia for her first time hosting as emcee, i'm so proud of you.

and i'm so proud of myself on how far i went in 3 to 4 years as a cosplayer. (this outfit was all store bought at miccostumes.com in case anyone was wondering)

also shoutout to pixelcloset. they're radical!!
