Yeah I know some might seem big-age-gap-y but if the characters are anywhere near my headcanon-ages-for-them-based-on-Morgan's-age-in-HPI-and-approximate-ratios-some-are-older-than-others they're all in each other's half-your-age-plus-seven and yeah I know yada yada conflict of interest but A. that applies to basically all squad ships, B. another excuse for Selena Soto to go full Nate Ford

So apparently Morgadec fans helped shape the freaking show direction so for fans of any other ship including polycrimes all we have to do is make enough noise for our ships (and also for #WagnerLives too) and those could happen too while the Morgadec closeness stays platonic (or for people who ship Morgadec some other squad member could just be a one-before-the-one like how Bones had Booth date Cam before Brennan)

Yes, if ages are anywhere near the headcanon ages for them the birth charts I posted implied, shipping him with either junior detective might have the age gap raise a few eyebrows but it's not too big to be inappropriate.

Between his first scene with Morgan at the end of "Behind The Music" with the quote from that Peckinpah movie and "Chasing Ghosts" having both the reveal of Ingrid the dog and Wagner say he was a fan of the movies that Dash and Maddy (the old movie stars at the center of the case) made together, dude clearly seems to be enough of a film nerd that I'm surprised that hasn't made it into more (esp.-ship-related) fics about him (and both times I saw Ingrid (as when we saw her in the flesh in "Second Sunday" I forgot he already brought her up in "Chasing Ghosts") I hypothesized the name's probably after Ingrid Bergman)
