🤍what's one fic of yours you think people didn't "get"?
You probably know what I’m tempted say (cough uitfmtg cough cough) but when I originally posted You’re Alright Where You Are I don’t think anybody understood my underlying dislike for Pk/Svech as a happy / fluffy couple. I had a few people asking for a happier ending or a sequel where they get together. Was a little frustrating but also I’m a very different person from a lot of other Pk/Svech enjoyers lollll
💌share something with us about an up-and-coming work (WIP) that has you excited!
I’m not currently writing anything and haven’t been for a while :( I’ve been swept up in art and work and have been pretty creatively empty for the last few months. Here’s an old excerpt from a Rempe/Zegras fic I never got around to though:
Matt shifts around on his butt, the thick upholstery of the couch unyielding to comfort. His back is gonna hurt and he knows it. He sighs, settles, tries to ignore the way his boxer shorts stretched tight around his crotch.
"Do you miss me or something?" Trevor's words lick with something restrained and tamed down, controlled, even if barely. Matt can't help but imagine a hand wound purple from a leash, holding back a drooling dog.
Matt wouldn't say he misses Trevor to anyone else but somehow the words tumble out. "Yeah."
Another pause, a short held breath. Another rustle of fabric and Matt wishes squinting would make it easier to hear. That he could hear every other imperceptible sound in Trevor's room. The creaking of his mattress, the catch in his lungs as he slides his hand across his chest and down stomach. Putting on a show for no one in particular.
"Yeah," Trevor repeats again. There's some garbled noise, broken apart by their shoddy connection and it makes Matt's stomach stir, like lightning. It's nothing, and he knows that's true.
