These whimsical metallic lacy flower waffles are a delightful treat that combines the goodness of classic waffles with a touch of sparkle. Perfect for a special occasion or a fun breakfast!
Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour. 2 tablespoons granulated sugar. 2 teaspoons baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 2 large eggs. 1 3/4 cups milk. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/4 cup metallic lacy flower-shaped sprinkles. Cooking spray for waffle iron.
Instructions: Follow the directions that came with your waffle iron to get it hot. Whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together in a large bowl. Put the eggs in a different bowl and beat them. Then add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Combine well. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix them together just until they are mixed. Make sure not to mix it too much; a few lumps are fine. Add the flower-shaped metallic lacy sprinkles one at a time. Use cooking spray to lightly grease the waffle iron so that it doesn't stick. Follow the directions on your waffle maker to use the right amount of batter when you pour it onto a hot waffle iron. After putting the waffles in, close the iron and cook them until they are golden brown and crisp. This usually takes three to five minutes, but check the directions that came with your waffle iron to be sure. Take the metal flower waffles out of the iron carefully and put them on a plate to serve. Do it again with the rest of the batter, making sure to grease the waffle iron as needed. You can serve the metallic flower waffles warm with syrup, whipped cream, or extra sprinkles, or any other toppings you like.
